Dear CMG Canada Member,
The CMG Canada Board of Directors and I welcome you to the April'98 "annual grand finale" two day Seminar. As is traditional with this two-day seminar, every attempt is made to focus on the technologies and processes which continue to transform our daily activities in IT. Those include:
I think you will agree, upon attending, that this year's program will even top last year's! Every attempt has been made to engineer this program so that it offers "something for almost everyone", given that today's IT environment is a smattering of so many diverse options. Hence, I invite you to carefully review the enclosed agenda and plan to attend - this is very much your forum! You can expect these two days to be rather rewarding and challenging in light of the material being covered.
The Speakers span many diverse backgrounds; their respective companies include: IBM, EMC Corporation, StorageTek Canada, Candle Corporation, Sun MicroSystems, and Hewlett-Packard.
In addition, I am happy to welcome, Mr. George Dodson, a Past President of CMG and the 1997 recipient of the prestigious A.A. Michelson award. George will share some insights as to the evolving focus of CMG.
Membership information will be available during the Seminar, and a membership form is enclosed for your convenience. A special new membership rate of $115 for individuals is in effect which includes: the $80 annual membership for 1998/1999 (the coming year), and attendance at this 2 day Seminar. Further, as a special provision for non-members wishing to attend just these two days, the one time cost is $25 per day, payable on site. As usual, Corporate Memberships can send an unlimited number of individuals from their respective Organization.
The tentative dates for the 1998/1999 year are: Tuesday October 27th 1998, Tuesday February 16th 1999, Tuesday April 13th - Wednesday April 14th 1999. You can keep informed about all of CMG Canada's events and updates by visiting out web site at:
